Local TROT runners, from the St. Clears based club, were among those who took part in the heat of the Tenby 10K recently.
Results were as follows: Mike Evans 4th, 34.51; Peter Griffiths 8th, 37.18; Dewi Jones 12th, 38.27; Adam Joseph 21st, 40.36; Ian Morris 23rd, 41.09; Kevin Rees 24th, 41.10; Jim Cooper 29th, 41.49; Claire Cleathroe 58th, 45.35; Mary Bowen Rees 61st, 45.52; Ron Morgan 62nd, 45.57; Pauline Thomas 89th, 50.57; Ann Rowell 91st, 51.14 Lindi Lloyd 93rd, 51.26; John Joseph 122nd, 55.23, Tom Furness 122nd, 55.23 (both these runners holding hands!); Rosie Swale Pope 128th, 57.17; Neil Griffiths 132nd, 57.36; Tessa Cooper 141st, 62.41.
Both male and female team runners ran tremendously well in the heat, winning both team events.

Melissa Watson won the first lady trophy, running her first race after a long rest through injury, while Ann Rowell won the first lady vet 40-plus.
Snowdon 10 mile race: Local TROT runner Carwyn Phillips ran the 10-mile up and down Snowdon race in an excellent time of 1 hour 39 mins.
Reading Triathlon: Richard Harrison the lost (!) TROT was well placed in a triathlon recently. When will we see him again running on the TROT circuit?
Poppit 5K Series results: 2. Mike Evans; 3. Evan Williams; 4. Ian Williams; 7. Malcolm Adams. Also finishing - Jim Cooper, Ron Morgan, Mike Hodges, Tom Furness, Claire Cleathroe and Tessa Cooper.
Both Mike Evans and Claire Cleathroe came second in their respective race groups.
Results of the TROTs third handicap race: Husband and wife runners Jim and Tessa Cooper are really improving with their running times and both were worthy winners recently.
