Cubs from the 1st Tenby Sea Scout Group recently visited the town's Silent World Aquarium where they were shown around and took part in a fact-finding quiz. The Beavers have also been in Silent World and all the boys learnt quite a lot during their visits.
Among other activities, the Beavers have been planting sunflower seeds which they will be looking after with care, because there will be a small prize for the tallest sunflower.
The Cubs have visited Belvedere, where they entertained the residents. Thanks go to Mrs. Miranda Davies for her assistance and well done boys for bringing a smile to everyone's face.
The Cubs, along with eight other Cub packs, took part in a County Cub Activity Day where they walked from Narberth to Slebech woods to have a go at different activities based on Scouting projects.
On returning to Narberth, each team was given a challenge where using odds and ends they had to construct a holder which would support an egg and when thrown into the air would remain unbroken on landing. Tenby team won the challenge by 'landing' their egg safely.
All Cub leaders and parents taking part had a good day out and returned home damp, muddy and tired, but happy.
The Cubs have also visited Heatherton where they spent an evening racing each other in the go-karts, having a go at target shooting and finishing up on the pirate putting course.
