During the past few months, the 1st Tenby Cub Pack has been very active.

As part of their DIY proficiency badge, Harry Bolton came along and showed the Cubs the correct way to use tools to make key holders, which were then decorated with pyrography to their own design with a kit which Clare Hartly kindly brought along.

As part of an ongoing project at Gumfreston Church, the Cubs made four bird boxes under the watchful eye of Andrew Aston - nice to see Harry and Andrew coming back to the pack to share their skills with the present Cubs.

The bird boxes were positioned on trees in the churchyard with help from dads and Trevor Hallett. The pack has visited and placed items for recycling into the skips at The Salterns.

The Cubs have also been finding out about healthy eating and made a very colourful salad with stuffed eggs; also a fresh fruit salad. Thankfully, there were no cut fingers and plates were soon clean.

Next Friday night they will be having a sleep-over in St. Johns Church hall in preparation for annual camp at the end of June.
