The incidents began last Thursday night, when firefighters from Whitland were called out to deal with a car fire on the Carmarthen to St. Clears section of the dual carriageway.
The call was received at approximately 9 pm, but the fire was out on the arrival of the brigade and an inspection only was carried out.
Two days later, both teams of firefighters rescued two cows from a slurry pit at Blaen-Ffynnonau Farm, Ciffig, while in the afternoon they attended an incident on the A40 which occurred when a tractor fell off a flat bed lorry onto the roadway.
The incident which occurred at 3 pm was also attended by the Carmarthen and Haverfordwest emergency tenders.
The firefighters were called to Pendine during the early hours of Sunday morning after a blaze broke out in a hay barn at Great House.
Crews from Whitland and Narberth, together with the brigade Land Rover attended the scene shortly before 2.30 am and used four breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. A water relay was also set-up to supply the ground monitor and jets.
Still there was no rest for the firemen as the day progressed.
Shortly before 2.30 pm, they were called to a utility room fire at Garden Cottage, Crinow, Narberth.
Again the same three appliances attended, and the fire, which left the cottage heavily smoke logged, was put out using two breathing apparatus sets and one hose reel jet.
Also on Sunday, the brigade used lines and hand tools to rescue a male person at Pendine Sands Holiday Camp at approximately 3 pm.
