It has been a busy time for the 1st Kilgetty Scout Group.  At the beginning of October, Scouts took part in the Guillimot Trophy which was held at St. Brides. This was a day's event, featuring a number of different team activities. A couople of weeks later, from Ocober 20-22, Scouts braved the extremely wet and windy weekend for the JOTA/JOTI camp at St. Brides (their October Dragon Award) This was a District-run event. During half-term, some of the older Scouts were able to complete their fishing badge. Joel Read, Josh Palin, Ben Prestwich and Matthew Langston also had a morning's fishing at Llys-y- Fran Dam, where they caught some rainbow trout for their supper! On November 12, the Rememberance Service at St. Issell's Church, Saundersfoot, was well attended. Thanks go to all those who turned out.
