The event attracted over 90 competitors aged from eight to 17 from across South Wales. Competing for the first time in the triathlon were Edward Andrews, Sam Hodson, Tom Kinnear and Jacob Knox and Freddie Meyrick. They joined Jack Goldsworthy Spuffard competing in the minimus boys competition for under 12 years. They all did extremely well with Jacob and Tom coming an excellent fouth and sixth respectively. The girls team was made up of senior girls Tiffanny Roach, Chloe Golsborough and Emily Pellington, Junior Alice Simon, and in the Minimus, Harriet Morgan, Ele Scourfield and Anna Morgan. All the girls did well recording personal bests, however Emily Pellington did very well coming fifth in her first senior competition. In the minimus, Harriet Morgan did superbly winning the event and recording the top shoot, with Anna Morgan coming fifth. The team are extremely grateful to Carew Quarries for sponsoring their tracksuits and kit, and would like to thank their shooting coach John and team manager Julie Roach for all their help and support.
