Last Monday, April 25 turned out to be a busy day for participants at the Tenby Project. A cupboard was found to be available to store equipment in, so a big sort out took place, and everything now has a home. The usual coffee morning took place, and people were able to try ANZAC biscuits in honour of ANZAC day – the Australian and New Zealand equivalent of Remembrance Sunday.

Certificates were handed out for the on-line First Aid Course that participants recently undertook, and people got started on their ASDAN awards. Everyone has chosen from a selection of awards, and people are mentoring each other through these awards, discussing what they will do for each bit and filling out the log books together.

Good progress has been made on the Postbag of Kindness – little gifts that will be sent to a similar group in Cornwall. Small rocks were painted ready to make labels for the panting at the Edible Community Garden – does anyone have some small smooth rocks suitable for this?

There was even a bit of dance choreography before everything was packed away for another week! This Monday, May 2, the group will be in Augustus Place as usual, and the coffee morning will be from 11 am to 12 noon with all welcome to come along. It is £1 for tea, coffee and biscuits, and £1 for a raffle ticket. In the afternoon, there will be a rock painting session, to which anyone is welcome as well.
