On Saturday, Oakwood Theme Park is offering a third off admission prices for locals.

The special one-day offer, which equates to more than £8 off the standard ticket price, is the Narberth attraction’s way of showing their appreciation for the ongoing support and loyalty of local people.

The offer is valid for anyone who lives in any of the following postcode areas: SA14, SA15, SA16, SA17, SA31, SA32, SA33, SA34, SA35, SA36, SA37, SA38, SA41, SA42, SA43, SA61, SA62, SA63, SA64, SA65, SA66, SA67, SA68, SA69, SA70, SA71, SA72, and SA73.

In order to take advantage of the discount, visitors need to show proof of their address when purchasing their ticket.

“We wanted to say ‘thank you’ to all the thousands of local people who have supported and visited the park over the years,” said Oakwood Theme Park’s Phil Verbinnen.

“It has not been the easiest start to the season, the wet weather has affected us all and has even meant we have had to delay routine maintenance work on some of the rides.

“Everyone here appreciates this has been a source of frustration and we decided this would be our way of apologising.

“We are delighted to say all our rides, including Megafobia which celebrates its 20th birthday this year as well as Bounce, Speed, Drenched and Treetops are up and running and we’d like to invite our nearest and dearest visitors to come along and enjoy the fun.

“We have tried to make the offer valid for as many people as possible, but have concentrated on those postcodes which are closest to the park,” he added.
