Oakwood Theme Park is inviting its older visitors to become kids again over the Father’s Day weekend (June 18-19).
All adult visitors will be able to turn back the clock and pay a child’s admission price when they purchase their tickets online.
The ‘Be a Child’ offer means that rather than paying the standard £24 admission gate price, visitors who book online will be treated like children and charged the £14.03 junior online admission rate.
“We wanted to come up with a fun way of celebrating Father’s Day and we came up with the idea of the ‘Be a Child Again’ campaign,” said Oakwood’s Natalie Hunt.
“Theme parks are all about releasing the inner child in all of us and this is the perfect excuse for all us adults to let our hair down for the weekend and just enjoy ourselves.”
To take advantage of the offer visitors will need to purchase their ticket via the Oakwood website and select a date within the validity period to visit at the lower price. The offer is only valid on June 18 and 19.
Set in more than 90 acres of spectacular Pembrokeshire countryside Oakwood is Wales’ biggest family adventure with more than 40 exhilarating rides and amazing experiences to discover.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Megafobia - one of the planet’s most popular wooden roller coasters.
Famed as one of the world’s wildest wooden coasters, it was voted the best ride in the UK and the 3rd best ride in the world by coaster enthusiasts from the Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain.
