FBM Holidays have been nominated as a finalist in the upcoming West Wales Business Awards, which are due to take place in January.
The awards, which are run by the owners of some of Wales’ largest online news outlets, like WalesOnline, will be held in Llanelli, and FBM Holidays will compete in the tourism and leisure category.
Nominations for the West Wales Business Awards began in November, with an independent panel of judges deciding that FBM Holidays should be shortlisted against interest from hundreds of other applicants in the category which recognises involvement in leisure and tourism sector.
The category award will go to the business which is specifically involved in tourism or the hospitality industry and can demonstrate how it has increased visitor numbers and contributed to the marketing and popularity of the region as a destination for holidays, short breaks or business events.
The black tie event will take place on Friday, January 19, at Stradey Park Hotel, Llanelli, and will be hosted by Frances Donovan and the guest speaker is Wales and Briths Lions legend Shane Williams. The awards are made up of nine categories, plus there is an award for best business overall.
The categories for the awards are for retail, agricultural, manufacturing - small and large, services, tourism and leisure, construction, small business, food and drink and training and development.
