Pembrokeshire police are again reminding young people that building sites are not playgrounds. The reminder comes after a number of incidents in the Pembroke and Pembroke Dock areas, one of which included young people driving diggers and dumpers. PC David Stock said: "There have been a number of incidents of young people gaining access to building sites throughout the county. "We are speaking to builders about securing their sites, but we also want to remind young people that these sites are not playgrounds. "By entering the site unsupervised you are immediately putting yourselves at risk. "Building sites hold lots of hidden dangers and we are asking parents to ensure they talk to their young people and ensure they stay away from building sites. "We are also reminding young people that causing damage on a site is a criminal offence which could result in you getting a criminal record which can affect the rest of your life."
