Tenby Friends of Tenovus recently held a buffet lunch in aid of Tenovus Cancer Care.

Held at the Wisemans Bridge Inn, it was an excellent lunch and enjoyed by all the 53 diners present.

After the lunch, Emily Wells, Tenovus Cancer Care community fundraiser for West Wales, spoke of the importance of continued financial support for this Welsh charity and how grateful they are to all the groups of Friends who are constantly thinking of ways to raise funds for research and cancer patient care and support.

The lunch raised just over £300, and at the end of the event, Tenby Friends of Tenovus presented Emily with a cheque for £3,000, the total they had raised over the past year.

Tenby Friends of Tenovus are very grateful for the support of everyone who attended the lunch, and the staff of Wisemans Bridge Inn for preparing such a delicious buffet.
