LAST Thursday, members from all over the Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire province of the RAOB gathered at the Enterprise Lodge, Kilgetty, to celebrate the 50 years of membership of Bro. Godfrey Jones ROH HM.

Bro. Godfrey and the Lodge were honoured to have the attendance of two Grand Lodge officers, Bro. Anthony Palmer ROH and Bro. John Bowyer ROH.

The running of the Lodge was taken over by Bro. Mickey Marsh KOM, the Provincial Grand Primo, along with his officers, to make the presentation of a 50-year membership emblem and decorated plate to Bro. Godfrey.

Sponsors were Bro. John Evans ROH, Bro. John Dugmore ROH and Bro. Don Lloyd ROH HM, who all spoke highly of his long service to the order and thanked him for his dedication.

The enjoyable evening was rounded off with a delicious meal served by Cath, Mel, Lena, Jan and Anne.

The Lodge would like to give special thanks to Jennie Maulio-Martino for her excellent artistic work on the presentation plate.
