Heating problems in the Mayor's Parlour and the offices of Tenby Town Council need to be sorted out as a matter of urgency, according to town councillors. Discussing the matter at their meeting on Tuesday night, Clr. Mrs. Tish Rossiter felt the issue needed to be addressed right away. "It's becoming embarrassing," she said. "We are all sat here in our coats and when we've invited people along to speak, we can't expect them to sit here in the cold. We need to act now before historical items kept here are damaged because of the conditions." Her colleague, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, concurred. "With all due respect, it's not something that has gone on for a few days, it's been months. What exactly are we paying the rent for?" she asked. Councillors agreed to write a letter to the De Valence Trust to see if the problem could be rectified as soon as possible.
