The 2nd St. Issell's Brownies in Saundersfoot are holding a fund-raising coffee morning in the Sun Lounge at the Regency Hall tomorrow (Saturday) and some of the pack are hoping to complete their Brownie Hostess Badge.
To do this, they must make invitations, plan entertainment, make table decorations, provide and serve refreshments and then wash up, all of which make for lifelong skills.
The unit is hoping to raise some money to help with this year's Girlguiding Census and membership.
St. Issell's is a flourishing unit and currently has 29 girls in the pack. Due to the increase in numbers, they have this year introduced the Welsh six - Bwbachod - to join with the Sprites, Imps, Elves and Gnomes.
You see some of them pictured on their annual pack holiday during the autumn at the Stackpole Centre for Outdoor Learning. They are a happy and lively pack and would love to welcome you on Saturday between 10 am and 12 noon, so they can practice their hostess skills.
