1st Penally Brownies recently presented a cheque for £50 to volunteers of the Welsh Air Ambulance Service. The money was raised when the Brownies hosted a craft, cake and fund-raising stall at the Colby Gardens Christmas Fair. Thanks must go to the kind and generous visitors who supported the stall. As the evening continued, Dave Gent and Val Kilby gave the girls a talk on the importance of the service, the costs of maintaining helicopters and equipment and the crucial role it plays in saving lives.
