THREE young brothers have been raising money for The National Autistic Society Pembrokeshire Branch.

Thirteen-year-old Lucien Slade and his brothers Niall and Joel, both aged 10, decided to help the charity by taking part in the Saundersfoot New Year's Day Swim.

"My eldest son Lucien has Asperger's Syndrome and we have had great support from the National Autistic Society Pembrokeshire Branch," said mum Cathlene. "We wanted to raise some money for them.

"This is the fourth year that Lucien has taken part and this year he did it with a broken arm!" she explained "We set up a just giving page http://www.justiving.com/Cathlene-Slade">www.justiving.com/Cathlene-Slade and aimed to raise £50. However, we have raised £120 so far."

Lucien attends Ysgol Dyffryn Taf in Whitland, while Niall and Joel are both in Year 6 at Stepaside School and will be moving to Dyffryn Taf in September.

"We would like to thank everyone who has donated so far and to say that the Just Giving page will stay open until just after an NAS fundraising quiz night to be held at Wiseman's Bridge Inn on Wednesday, February 5," added Cathlene.

The quiz night starts at 7.30 for 7.45 pm and everyone is welcome. There will be a maximum of six people per team and entry fee is £2 per person, which includes a raffle ticket. Quiz master Mary provides a wide range of questions and picture rounds to ensure there is something for everyone!

These nights are very popular so why not go along and enjoy a great evening!
