Campaigners who are opposing proposals to develop a civic amenity site alongside a nursing home near New Hedges, have urged anyone wishing to show support for their campaign to join them next week.
Members of the Brooklands Relatives Support Group have been out in force, three times a week, for the past few months, campaigning roadside to object to Pembrokeshire County Council's plans to construct a civic amenity and recycling centre on a site to the west of Brooklands Nursing Home.
The group will be outside the nursing home again on Monday morning, at around 10 am, shortly before members of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority's development management committee embark on a site visit to inspect whether the proposed land is suitable for the development.
A spokesperson for the home and group said that the campaigning was not intended to disrupt the site meeting and would be held outside the home, just as it has normally been staged in recent months since the application came to light.
