As part of its commitment to safeguarding the members of the communities it serves, Pembrokeshire County Council has joined forces with Dyfed-Powys Police to install safety bollards at a retirement facility in Saundersfoot.
Located in Brooklands Place, the property, which has seven residents, has recently been subject to several incidents of ASB and parking issues.
The facility only has seven parking spaces, which are used mainly by carers who visit residents regularly throughout the day or for ambulances, which need easy and swift access.
To combat the issue, which mainly consisted of people parking in the area during the day to avoid paid-parking or young adults parking vehicles at night and playing music, Pembrokeshire County Council has installed a row of bollards.
David Jones from Pembrokeshire County Council tenancy management department said: "Working in partnership is key to ensuring our communities live and work in a safe and pleasant environment. This project highlights our commitment to listening and engaging with our residents and acting efficiently and effectively where appropriate."
If you have concerns about anti-social behaviour in your area please call Dyfed-Powys Police on 101.
