Plenty of brollies were on display, but despite the wet weather, a good time was had by all who attended the annual St. James' Fair in Jameston on Monday. The popular summer fair was celebrating its 20th anniversary, and the proceedings started at 1 pm with a colourful parade. Then it was on to the official opening and the crowning of this year's Fair Queen, seven-year-old Hazel Max Fox. The fancy dress competitors braved the drizzle to take to the stage in costume, while there were plenty of attractions for fair-goers to enjoy, as well as the numerous stalls to browse around. Entertainment continued well into the evening with live music and plenty of refreshments taken on board at the Swanlake Inn.
