Judges from the Royal Horticultural Society’s Britain in Bloom contest were in Tenby today to take a tour of the towns floral delights.

Tenby in Bloom committee chairman, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, gave RHS judges Mark Wasilewski and Keith Jackson a presentation and run through on how working alongside Tenby Town Council and Pembrokeshire County Council, the volunteer team go forward with their objectives for the year, in terms of floral planting and maintaining environmental standards around the resort.

The judges along with Clr. Mrs. Lane, the Mayor of Tenby, Clr. Laurence Blackhall, and County Council environmental maintenance manager Glenville Codd then embarked on a sunny tour of the town.

Tenby will be challenging in the ‘Coastal up to 12k’ category of the competition, which is one of Europe’s largest horticultural campaigns.
