Here to brighten up the autumn months is the Span Arts Comedy Club. There are some great comedians lined up for you, including evil mastermind behind the Kill for a Seat comedy clubs across the UK.
Check them all out on Thursday, November 12, at the Queen’s Hall, Narberth. This month’s headliner is Silky, a comedian who has been performing since 1994, and has performed alongside huge names like Lee Mack and Julian Barrat. Silky has performed internationally, including gigs in China, the Philippines, the Gulf, Singapore, the US, the Melbourne Comedy Festival, and all over Europe, including Glastonbury Festival.
His fluent and intelligent storytelling has been described by critics as “impressive, and carries with it a genuine sense of character. This is a performer whose genuine charm captures his crowd.”
Joining him will be Tiernan Douieb, a comedian who has supported Frankie Boyle on his work in progress shows this year. Douieb’s friendly manner and fast-paced gags have made him a highly sought after compere and act on the circuit.
BBCMC for the evening is Sean Percival. Sean’s brand of comedy steers clear of the surreal and confronts realism in an explosively funny way. A festival favourite, he has performed at the Edinburgh, Download, Reading, Leeds and Sonisphere festivals and as an established headliner he plays regularly at all major comedy clubs around the UK.
Span Arts’ Comedy Club offers the perfect night of fun, food and a feelgood factor. Bring your mates, dates or even your mum!
Tickets are available from the Span Arts website at span-arts.org.uk or from the Box Office on 01834 869323.
