On Wednesday, December 17, Tenby Bridge Club held their Christmas party, and once again a fabulous evening was had by all.

A great big thank you to Malcolm, Pat and staff at The Giltar... who never let us down!

The dinner was fabulous, and it was lovely to welcome old members and visitors to join us.

This year for the first time we were all in competitive spirit to try and win The Crockford Cup. This cup was donated to Tenby Bridge Club by treasurer, Mrs. Liz Crockford. Thank you Liz.

The winner at the end of the evening was the one and only Mr. John O'Sullivan. Congratulations on being the first recipient!

Second was Mrs. Celia Rossiter, and third Mrs. Liz Crockford (both returning home with a little 'bottle'.

Our 'booby' prize went to Mrs. Irene Warlow... Commiserations to Irene, but I am sure she will enjoy the Champagne!

Friday evening and back at the clubhouse we had five tables in play: 1. Cindy Middleton and Wally Heaton 66.67 per cent; 2. Doug Silcox and Kevin Thomas 60.65; 3. Barry Thorne and Celia Rossiter 59.72; 4. John and Jill O'Sullivan 57.41.

The club will return to Kilgetty for duplicate bridge on Friday, January 2, at 6.30 pm.
