Elizabeth Sleight and Steve Moss, of the Harriet Davis Trust, were guests at the Brewery Inn, Cosheston, last week, to receive a donation of £502 for the charity, which was the proceeds from the last quarter’s quiz nights.

Speaking for the trust, Elizabeth Sleight said: “We were absolutely thrilled to receive such a generous donation from the Brewery Inn and we are so grateful to John Lowdon and all the staff and customers for their support. This will certainly help us give disabled children and their families, the best possible holidays.”

The Harriet Davis Trust is currently raising funds to refurbish its Giltar View property in Tenby, which has been running for nearly 20 years and now is ready for an upgrade.

Publican John Lowdon said: “We’re delighted to be supporting this very special Pembrokeshire charity, and I’m very proud that our regular Wednesday quiz nights have raised so much for local good causes.”
