COUNTRY music fans are eagerly looking forward to the arrival of Irish Country Music star Brendan Shine who will be making his annual visit to the Queen's Hall, Narberth, on November 26.
Previous shows, organised by P J Promotions, have proved so popular that tickets have sold out long before the night and this will be no exception.
"Brendan Shine has a huge following throughout Ireland and the UK," said Peter Jones of PJ Promotions "He is also a regular performer on the world stage and on TV, so it is a privilege and, indeed, a coup for us at PJ Promotions to be able to bring him and his Showband to West Wales" (although the fact that Peter and Brendan have been friends for 30 years may have something to do with it!).
The band is indeed very popular, with fans travelling from Carmarthenshire and Cardiganshire for a rare opportunity of enjoying a live performance by one of Ireland's top entertainers.
The audience at last year's concert were full of praise for the band and the customary slick organisation associated with all events organised by PJ Promotions. On this occasion, The Brendan Shine Showband will be supported by the ever-popular local duo, The Bowen Brothers. As usual there will be a strict no smoking policy and Maria, of Café Ole, will be serving up her delicious food.
"We offer the same advice as usual," said Peter Jones. "Book early, for this will, undoubtedly, be another sell out"
