Tenby's inshore lifeboat was launched at 4.40 pm on Saturday after two boys got trapped on rocks below the Imperial Hotel when the tide started to come in.

The 11-year-old boys from Aberdare, were quickly located and the coastguard team managed to calm them down before they were taken aboard the ILB and brought to Tenby Harbour, where they were given a talk about the possible dangers of incoming tides.

Firefighters from the town were also called to this incident, but no action was neccessary.
