Pembroke Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) are encouraging 'boy racers' to give them their views.

At the recent Police and Communities Together (PACT) meeting, residents complained about boy racers using the West Street car park.

They claimed the boy racers were congregating there, playing loud music and doing dangerous stunts such as wheelies.

The NPT reported that they regularly patrol the area and have spoken to a number of the drivers there.

They are now considering setting up a meeting to discuss the issue with the boy racers themselves.

Other issues raised at the meeting were vehicles being parked on East End roundabout, causing difficulty to other users, and the state of the old Monkton bridge garage.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team, in liaison with other agencies, will tackle these issues and report back to the next meeting.

The Pembroke PACT meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at the Town Hall, Pembroke, from 7-9 pm.
