Following a call from ambulance control requesting assistance, Tenby and Manorbier Coast Rescue Teams were tasked to assist Helimed 57 with the evacuation of an 11-year-old boy who had fallen on rocks at Pendine beach.

The child was assessed on scene by paramedics and released into the care of his father following the incident shortly after 2.30 pm on Saturday. No further assistance was required.

The young lad, who was staying at a local caravan park for the weekend, was from Neyland.
