Global participation in Tenby's Boxing Day Swim has now taken the event's medal tally to the 622 mark.
Along with the 576 bathers who braved the cold in Tenby, 32 took the plunge in Virigina Beach, USA, a further eight swam in a lake in Washington DC and another six took to the warmer waters of Sydney, Australia.
The event organisers, the Tenby Sea Swimming Association, are now appealing for all swimmers to either hand in any outstanding sponsor money for swim charities, or inform them of contributions made to other charities and good causes.
