Christmas draw

Now that our bowlers have gone indoors, we are into the pool and darts season, interspersed with a quiz as a charity fund-raiser. In addition, the bowling club fund-raising Christmas draw is also now active.

What Generosity

I personally do really appreciate all the support in various forms and all the encouragement through cards and gifts which I have recently received from my many friends in both the bowling fraternity and the community as a whole (writes B. B.). I feel that every tablet is worth the agony and is getting me back into the usual routine.

Thanks to you all for seeing me back to normality. I hope to take up driving the car once again soon which would bring a great move in my life!

I am now back enjoying bridge and whist each week which brings improvement, while everyone's personal encouragement also spurs me into maximum gear.

I have so many friends, for which I am so very grateful; I also have been so lucky. Number one has been Pauline - how she managed I do not know! Lynn Delabertouche is so generous - 'pure gold', while Lewis Hilling has been so encouraging. John Baggott, Ashley Hooper and Lawrence and all the whist ladies are also to be thanked for their support. I am very grateful.
