There were so many raffle prizes, donated by members and from the bowling club, everyone struck lucky, giving all the feeling that Christmas was only just around the corner.

Christmas 2008
Proof that Christmas is arriving soon is confirmed by the seasonal decorating of the 'posh' bar/lounge by none other than Archie, a true workaholic. You name it he can do it, an inspiration to us all. Of interest to all members is the special Christmas drinks promotion, which runs from tomorrow (Saturday) to January 4.
The Christmas draw is on Sunday, December 21, while club opening hours over the holiday period remain the same as usual, Christmas Day - 12 noon to 4 pm, Boxing Day - 11.30 am - closing!
Management 2009
The newly-elected management committee has started the ball rolling by forming the new sub-committees.
The recent coffee morning went so well, a second is planned for Saturday, January 24.
To the delight of all, John Baggott, after due consideration, has agreed to become the Pembroke County BA junior vice-president. It's the first rung on the ladder to become county president in 2011. He will be joining a long line of serious club members over the years, all of whom have shown the Tenby flag since inception in 1935. The other founder member clubs being Pembroke Dock, Milford Haven and Haverfordwest.
Darts Team
From the sublime to the ridiculous - after the previous week's superb win, the bowlers were soundly beaten by a very good Castle team. In fact, so well beaten, they failed to obtain a single point. Let's hope they can bounce back this week against their local rivals, the Sailing Club.
