Blessed with two brilliant days of late summer, Tenby Bowling Club's finals were a pleasure to participate in as players and watch as spectators.

Competition secretary Lynn Delabertouche and club secretary David Spencer laid out a well-balanced programme spanning the whole weekend.

The club's junior members were once again amongst the trophy winners, with 11-year-old Molly Spencer becoming the youngest ever winner of one of the main competitions.

Molly and her partner, Ysie White, 15, were victorious in the New Pavilion four-wood pairs, beating no other than current county champions, Lynn Delabertouche and Audrey Owens, in a thrilling final.

Club president Bert asked Julia King-Thomas, Welsh Women's Bowling Association president, to present the prizes to the lady winners and club vice-chairman and Pembrokeshire County team manager, John Baggott, to present the men's trophies.
