Three of our youngsters, Liz Goldwait, Dana Rogers and Ysie White, have all been nominated for the County under 25 ladies team. This side has been resurrected for the coming season, and all three of our juniors have had a fantastic season indoors and are now champing at the bit for the outdoor game. Bonus Ball

Reg Thake again came up trumps on the lottery. He could be heard roaring up to the club on his scooter to pick up his winnings, but unfortunately 'Simo' had gone home, so he had to wait to pick up the 'lolly'. The other winners were Joan and John Lloyd. Maintenance

John Moffet has now installed the new honours board for the juniors. He is one of those people who can turn his hand to anything, and always a willing helper. Another one of the 'beavers' is Ray Hine, who has taken on the onerous job of getting all the trophies engraved. As always, Ray does it in his own meticulous way. Dai Robb was busy weeding the front, under the eye of the chairman, who was taking a break after transporting the green cuttings down the 'tip'. Next job will be to weed the ditches out, which this year are not nearly so bad as previous years. Monday, 10 am, we meet, if anyone wants to join in the fun!
