TENBY 96

PEMBROKE DOCK 74

Tenby kicked off the bowling season with a friendly at home to Pembroke Dock on Saturday (writes Woody).

In Pat's rink, a solid performance by the front pair allowed Pat the luxury of putting woods up the wrong way round and still winning 31-23.

A good all-round solid performance was how Dave described his win against D. Burns.

In Paul's rink, the Webbmiester was in sparkling form as they ended up winning by five shots.

The only rink to go down was Andrew's, but only by three shots.

Let's hope the winning habit stays with the boys as they take on Saundersfoot tonight (Friday).

The green, not as fast as Tenby's, nevertheless bowled well, and was a credit to all the hard work put in by the greenkeeper.
