Popular Saundersfoot bowler, Ann Lewis has been over the moon this week after being selected to represent Wales in a test series in South Africa.

A stalwart member of the Welsh international team for the last 15 years, Ann, of North Close, Saundersfoot is one of a seven-strong team chosen for the nine-day event.

"I am absolutely delighted," said Ann, who previously represented her country in a test series in Israel five years ago.

"I don't think the news has sunk in yet," she smiled.

"It is a great honour for not only myself, but my club and county and it is an experience I am very much looking forward to," she added.

Ann jets off to Cape Town, where the team will be based, on September 21.
