Harison-Allen Bowl holders Lamphey have their sights firmly set on retaining the trophy after progressing to the quarter-finals of this year's competition with a fine win over Narberth.
Narberth put up a tremendous fight, but Lamphey's total of 153 for 4 from their allotted 22 overs always looked a bridge too far, and so it proved as their opponents fell 18 runs short.
Skipper Dave Lovell once again led from the front for Lamphey with a seven fours in his 41, with other useful knocks coming from Daniel Sutton (47) and Nathan Gage (40).
When Narberth replied, they lost Mike Johns early on, but Davy Johns (25), Marc Hughes (21), Geoff Martin (24) and Richard Adams (19) kept their hopes alive, before they eventually ran out of time with their score on 135 for 9.
Narberth's near neighbours Whitland also bowed out of the Bowl after finding Haverfordwest too hot to handle.
They were always in trouble after an early burst by Town opening bowler Paul Thomas (5 for 14) left them reeling.
Only Mark Lee (19 not out) and David Lee (12 ) managed to reach double figures, before Darren Brick (4 for 17) stepped in to mop up the tail.
Whitland's total of 56 was never likely to cause any real problems for Haverfordwest and they romped to a nine-wicket success in 12 overs, with Jonathan Twigg steering them home with an unbeaten 25
Other results in round two include the following:
Neyland 100 for 5 lost to Cresselly 104 for 2.
Spittal 101 for 8 lost to Burton 135 for 2.
Llechryd 78 for 8 lost to St. Ishmaels 135 for 5.
