An environmentally friendly scheme for collecting bottles for recycling could be in the pipeline for Tenby.
Clr. Mike Evans told his colleagues at Tuesday evening's meeting of the town council, that a collection service, allowing pubs, restaurants and cafes etc within the town to dispense of their bottles for recycling, would be of a huge benefit to the community's environment.
Councillors are now to write to Pembrokeshire County Council's member for environment and transportation, Clr. Brian Hall, inviting him to a future meeting to discuss such an initiative.
