Tenby Sea Rowing Club is to receive a financial boost from the town council ahead of entering this year's Celtic Challenge competition.
TSRC, which is part of Surflink, are to take up the challenge in May when they compete in the race across the Irish Sea from Arklow to Aberystwyth. Councillors agreed to donate £250 to the rowers at their meeting on Tuesday evening.
"I totally support Surflink as they do a tremendous job and I wish the Tenby team good luck," said Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown in proposing the donation.
