Hotel bookings in Pembrokeshire have experienced a 150 per cent boost in recent weeks, a local councillor claimed on Tuesday.

Clr. Mike Evans expressed his delight at this news when he revealed the statistics to his fellow members at a meeting of Tenby Town Council.

"Pembrokeshire Tourism carry out regular surveys on accommodation bookings in the county," he said. "The increase is certainly great news for tourism in the area."
