Tenby bookshop are hosting a book signing on July 30 from 11 am to 3 pm for the author, Mary Powles.

Mary’s books focus on the lives of ordinary people in small towns like her fictional place Pontardeilo and the very real and delightful seaside resort of Tenby. Her latest novel, Moving Times, looks at the challenges facing individuals trying to buy or sell a home. One of the properties in the chain she describes is situated in The Paragon.

“I always stop on the cliff top there and think what a magnificent view it is from that position and imagined my characters thinking the same,” said Mary.

She divides her time between Llanelli upon which Pontardeilo is based and Tenby.

She looks forward to meeting local readers at the bookshop on July 30 and also at Tenby library on Saturday, October 6, at 2 pm, when she will be giving a talk for National authors’ week.
