Sir, May I through this column thank everyone who has helped me with promoting my book The Encyclopedia Man. From the shops selling the novel, to the businesses that have allowed me to put up posters, have flyers put around their establishments, and exposure through print and radio; it has all aided me greatly to get my story out there. My little tale has by far exceeded my expectations and those of you who have been following my Facebook page or have spoken to me in the street (or usually in the pub) will know that I am currently in negotiations with a major Australian screen producer to turn the book into a feature film. It is still very early days, although I do now have an outline for the film script which does not deviate a great deal from the core story. There are still a few handfuls of first editions to be snapped up around town, and if you want a signed personal copy, you can usually find me in my office near the harbour. Also the book is available on Amazon Kindle. Either way, it could possibly make a great Christmas present (I had to get that one in, didn't I?).
