Police are still continuing investigations following the discovery of the body of a man on a beach on Caldey Island on Monday afternoon.
Dyfed-Powys Police received a call shortly before 4.30 pm following the discovery of the body on Bullens Bay, a secluded cove on the eastern side of the island.
On arrival, the volunteer RNLI crew members then assisted in the recovery of the body, a white male, and transported it back to Tenby Harbour on board the all-weather Tamar class lifeboat.
The body, believed to have been in the sea for several days, was then taken to Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest.
