The BOBB scheme is working in Narberth, with no arrests being referred to the scheme in the last six weeks. The Behave or Be Banned Scheme is now in its fourth month and so far seven people have been banned from all the premises in the scheme which includes pubs and restaurants. At the recent forum meeting, the Narberth Neighbourhood Policing Team updated residents and told them that in the last six weeks there had not been one arrest which would warrant being referred to the BOBB scheme. PCSO Dave Henry said: "It is hoped this is a direct result of the message getting out that only acceptable behaviour whilst drinking will be tolerated in Narberth." Police have also praised the quality of CCTV coverage in the pubs throughout the town. Other issues raised were boy racers in the Town Moor car park and Garfield Gardens. Residents were impressed by the efforts of Narberth police in their prompt reaction and action to recent calls in relation to this matter. Residents were also concerned about youths causing a nuisance by taking short cuts through people's gardens in the Back Lane area and young people congregating behind the Health Centre. Both were highlighted as priorities for the coming month and the Neighbourhood Policing Team pledged to increase patrols in those areas. Traffic flow in the town centre was also raised as a priority. Residents said they were aware that businesses needed to have deliveries, but that sometimes this blocked the traffic for long periods. The team said if this happened, they would try and assist with traffic flow. Anyone wanting to raise an issue with the Narberth Neighbourhood Policing Team can attend their next forum on November 27 from 7 pm at the Bloomfield Community Centre or contact them on 0845 330 2000 or at tenbyNPT@dyfed- powys.pnn.police.uk
