Helen Mary Jones, AM for Mid and West Wales has added her voice to the widespread condemnation of the new delay in the process of determining the application for the Bluestone Project.
Speaking about the recent setback to local hopes for progress in moving the project forward, Helen Mary Jones said: "This is a very disappointing setback. These delays in coming to a decision are unacceptable. A great many local hopes are riding on this application, especially the hopes for employment for young people in an area which desperately needs it.
"Delays are also very wasteful in financial terms. There could be a case here for the National Assembly to examine the planning procedures in this case, and the way in which they have been used."
