SOUTH Wales based Celtadelic rockers, 'Bluehorses' are making a rare West Wales appearance at the Queen's Hall, Narberth, on Friday, February 6.

The band is fronted as ever by Caerphilly born singer Liz Prendergast's vocals, electric violin, electric Celtic harp, space-mandolin and keyboards and led by co-founder and songwriter Nic Waulker on drums.

Sharing stages with bands as diverse as the Levellers, Hawkwind and Oysterband, 'Bluehorses' have spent much of the last eight years on the road, wowing festival audiences in every country in Western Europe, Scandinavia and even the Orkney Isles.

Starting out where others fear to tread, the band's music is a genuine hybrid, fusing Celtic elements with classic rock interludes and improvised virtuoso musicianship.

Featuring brand new music plus tracks from all four of their critically acclaimed CDs, including their MOJO Album of the Month 'Dragons Milk and Coal', this performance will showcase the many aspects of their unique take on evocative Celtic melody and swaggering rock and roll.

Nic's nephew, Nathan Waulker, joined on bass guitar in 2002 having spent the past few years touring with his own rock band playing many festivals in Russia and Eastern Europe. The line-up is completed by Bristol's Fast Jakey Easyrider, whose pyrotechnic hijinx on electric and 12-string guitars and mandolin have been leaving audiences open-mouthed over the past year.

Support is from Krane, local favourites with their own brand of rock.

Doors open 8 pm. Tickets £8. Tel: 01834 861212
