Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority’s three visitor attractions will be giving away free bunches of daffodils at its visitor attractions on March 4 and 5 as part of this year’s St David’s Day celebrations.

Carew Castle, Castell Henllys Iron Age Village and Oriel y Parc Gallery and Visitor Centre will all have a limited number of bunches to give to people who visit one of the sites over the St David’s Day weekend.

Park Authority Chair, Cllr Di Clements said: “We’re encouraging as many people as possible to get into the St David’s Day spirit and what better way to bring this celebration of Welsh culture into your home, than with a bunch of these brightly coloured blooms?

“The daffodils will be handed out on a first come, first served basis and as there is only a limited number available at each site, I’d encourage people to visit as early as they can on March 4 and 5 to take advantage of the offer.”

Saturday will also see the annual Dragon Parade taking place in St Davids, with the procession of school pupils and care in the community members leaving Oriel y Parc at 11am.
