The Tenby In Bloom committee brought home the Wales in Bloom award this week and still have their green fingers crossed for success in the Britain in Bloom competition, with the winners due to be revealed next week.
It's the 26th time the resort has taken the best 'small country town' crown in the Wales in Bloom event and Tenby in Bloom chairman, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, committee member, Clr. Mrs. Tish Rossite, and a Pembrokeshire County Council representative travelled to Cemaes Bay, near Anglesey, last Friday, to receive the accolade for the town.
Clr. Mrs. Lane also brought back the trophy from the awards ceremony that the Esplanade's Giltar Hotel had won for 'best hotels, guest houses, public houses and restaurants frontage' in its section, and presented it to the hoteliers this week.
