The final of Texaco Blindfold Bowling 2004 was played recently with eight teams battling it out for the Championship Shield.
Jammo's Nightclub, Prince's Trust Cymru, Pembroke Dock Police, Total, Barclays Bank, Martletwy Young Farmers, Llewelyn Davies and BDS Plant all donned their blindfolds to try and knock down as many pins as possible without sight.
The games resulted in Jammo's and B.D.S. Plant being the Pembrokeshire champions.
Trophies were also presented to ESS Support Services (top fundraising team), John Richards and the Tenderfoots (lowest scoring team wooden spoon, Linda Fairbairn from Fairfield Nursing Home (top individual fundraiser), and Shane Dougherty (highest scoring individual).
This year's 12th anniversary challenge saw 58 teams taking part, raising a fantastic £12,500 for RNIB Cymru.
This money will ensure that we continue providing much needed services for people who are visually impaired in Pembrokeshire.
RNIB Cymru's manager, Christine Morgan, would like to thank all the teams for their continued generosity, Joyce Wonnacott for helping to organise the event, Phil Thompson, of Texaco for their sponsorship, and the support of CC2000.
