We stick to a sporting theme for this week’s Blast from the Past. The picture is of a Snooty Fox darts team from yesteryear and features: back, from left - Tony Thomas, Denis Brace, Martin Brace; front - Tim Dean, Graham Thomas and Mervyn Brace. Ironically, the Snooty Fox pub no longer exists and nor does the Tenby and District Darts League in which they played. It’s hard to believe that back in the ’70s - before the breakaway Tenby Town League started - the District League consisted of five divisions, yet now there are not enough teams for even one.
