As a follow-up to last week’s Blast from the Past, pictured are some of the cast of Saundersfoot Junior Choir’s production of Oliver, which was staged at the Regency Hall over four days in April 1977.
Michael Self was producer and musical director, and with Paul James Morris taking on the role of Oliver, the main cast also featured Janet Dyer as the Artful Dodger, Phyllis Paterson as Nancy, Beryl Ann McCoan as Widow Corney, Donald Johns as Mr. Bumble, and John Denning as Bill Sykes.
Seen with Oliver (Paul James Morris) from left are - Jane Busby, Alan Wastnage, Wayne Llewellyn, Olwen Steward, Nicholas Harries, Beryl Elmes, Mark Parcell, John Owen and Richard Davies.
Again thanks to Gill Lewis, of Penally, who was the choir’s secretary and pianist, for dropping in the photo to us.
